This is highly recommended reading. The paper traces briefly the history of cremation in the New Testament church and looks closely at all the Biblical data about cremation and burial. The pastoral section gives helpful suggestions for dealing with the practical questions that may arise, such as the relative cost of burial vs. cremation, circumstances in which burial is impossible and so on.
